Our story
They surrounded Rocky Flatshand-in-hand around its 17 mile perimeter.

At the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant near Denver, people spent years protesting and getting arrested. In 1983 they decided to try something completely different.
The Encirclement was on Saturday, Oct. 15, 1983. This was the action that led directly to the founding of the Boulder Peace Center, later renamed Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center.
